Join NC IDEA for the Rural NC Place-Based Entrepreneurship Roundtable presented in partnership with NCGrowth. (The location is still being finalized, but will be held at a co-working community in the central part of the state.)

This roundtable will focus on place-based entrepreneurial centers and programs, such as incubators, co-working spaces and accelerator programs in counties of less than 200,000 people.

Why Attend?

  • To share your learnings with colleagues from across the state if you have implemented place-based entrepreneurship centers and programs in your community, whether successful or unsuccessful
  • To learn from those who have implemented place-based entrepreneurship centers and programs in their community if you are about to implement your own
  • To help NC IDEA and NCGrowth understand what we can do to help you be successful
Who Should Attend?

  • Entrepreneurs
  • Economic Developers
  • Government Officials
  • Chambers of Commerce
  • Entrepreneurial Support Organizations
  • Small Business Centers
  • Community Colleges
NC IDEA has a limited number of spaces available, so they may not be able to accommodate everyone who would like to attend. Organizers will prioritize those individuals outside of major cities who are actively working toward establishing a place-based entrepreneurship center or who have experience developing one. Applications are being accepted for the February 18, 2020 event through February 2.
